PATHursday my PATHass

I have become so utterly astonished by fellow commuters recently. I’m not going to respond with a list of guidelines as excellently done by thisiswhatwedonow, but I will comment that this past week I’ve seen:
* some random guy yodeling (yes, yodeling) at full-volume
* nuns reading Newsweek
* my former boss
* a 4-foot-tall grandmotherly woman (who elbowed me in the gut to get on the train, but that’s another story)
* a man in short shorts, a farmer’s hat and sandals who, during rush hour, played a harmonica, stopping occasionally to mutter and stare at people, then sing out loud and return to the harmonicaizing.
* and my favorite, an angry business man in a three-piece suit who yelled at a kid and mother for being too slow… and then collided with a wall when looking down to check his blackberry. Like, full-out Bugs Bunny-style splat on the wall.
Do people have this much fun on other mass transit systems?

I definitely miss taking mass transit, it's always entertaintment. For the time being, I have to be content as someone actually driving to work. I don't get to deal with stupid people, but stupid people operating vehicles.
HA! How bout the people who ALWAYS get angry when people sit next to them...did YOU pay for two seats?
I also like that NO ONE gets out of their seat for pregnant women, women with strollers, or old people with canes!
And where's my Metro newspaper at 9:30am?! Ohhhh the path.
you're hilarious. love you babe.
Have you seen Teddy, the lord of the Path trains?

omg, i am always on the freaking path with teddy!! last monday, some guy called him out for being too lazy to get a real job, and i thought ole teddy was going to go path psycho on his ass! ooooh, path. way to top the northeast corrider.
Jesus H! I see that man damn near daily, using the same line of "we are here, trying to collect money for the homeless. We are very low on food in the shelters." Yet, his clothes get nicer and nicer.
