So it's my last day of "real" work before a week of drinking, orientating (not becoming oriental, as my dear sister once thought), more drinking, a wedding, a trip to the country, and then finally the start of classes. Eek.

Stressed? Me? Never. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH.

The good news is that tonight there will be a grand trek to Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden in Astoria, which (as you may have inferred from the name) features an outdoor garden where they serve beer. I've never been, but I've heard so much about this place that if I hear one more recommendation without actually experiencing it, I might kill the recommender. Which seems impolite. I will chronicle my exploits on that later.

But there's even better news here: LAPPY HAS ARRIVED!!!


It's even more amazing than I could have predicted. It's SO. EFFING. FAST. And beautiful. And waaaaaaagh it rules. All future posting shall come from it. I will tinker more and post. But last night I was so tired all I really did was tweak the basic settings and transfer my programs, set up firefox/adium/iscrobbler/etc. So much fun remains!
